Happy Valentine’s Day

One of my favorite crafting projects is decorating printers trays.  This  one I happened to find at my local Goodwill, still in the original packaging.   Since Valentine’s day is just around the corner I decided to see what I could create using the new “Sending Love” dsp by  Stampin’ Up!  Which I paired up with the “Sealed with Love” stamp set, both are found in the 2017 Occasions catalog. The catalog runs from January 4th  through May 31, 2017.

Baby wipe technique

I am always up for trying  something new and recently saw a pin on Pinterest with this technique.  The technique is not new and has been around awhile but it is new to me.

Using Stampin’ Up! re-inkers and a baby wipe.  I added  about 7-9 drops each of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Smokey Slate ink.

I chose the Paisley’s & Posies (142196) and Paisley Framielit Dies (141849) for my card from the 2016 Holiday Catalog.

Here is my finished card….

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon!

Mondays are always a good day for inspiration. Our team leader for Hawaii Ink  gave a great challenge this week.  So in between granddaughters nap and waiting for the retired list to be posted at the Stampin’ Up! demo site. I had time to get creative.

Watercolor Birthday Wish

Hi Stampers!   Today I thought I would share with you a sweet little card I made using the Watercolor Wonder stamp set by Stampin’ Up!   This card is super easy to make but does involve a little “fussy” cutting. But if your like me, that’s just part of the fun of crafting and who doesn’t like to play with scissors.

Hawaii Ink Color Challenge

This week we were challenged to create something using this beautiful and colorful pillow as our inspiration.  The center flower is just stunning.

Although I do love all of the colors represented here, I chose to use just a few for my card.

I decided to do a white on white card base.

It seemed to work well with the Gorgeous Grunge and Lighthearted Leaves stamp sets.

I chose Marina Mist, Hello Honey and Pear Pizzaz as my ink pallet.

Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by!
